fk1+ BenQ cursor issue

Just got the Zowie FK1+ mouse by BenQ and have noticed a small issue: randomly, as I'm moving the mouse and then stop, the cursor will continue to move on its own (without me doing anything). This doesn't happen too often, but it does catch me off-guard. I use this mouse with the Steelseries 4HD mousepad. Sometimes, it doesn't happen for a while and then all of a sudden, it occurs.

Just to be clear are you talking sustained movement old bean? Or a flinch at the end of the stroke?

Constant movement, varies in speed. Sometimes it moves across the screen slowly, and other times it's slightly quicker (can move up or down the screen as well).

E: I have a Razer Goliathus Speed mousepad lying around that I haven't used for probably over a year. I'll test that out to see if it occurs with that pad.

check to make sure you have dont have windows acceleration on (enhance pointer precision) and check your windows sensitivity

Perhaps the PC is the issue and not the mouse? It might be slowing down so bad for some reason that it delays processing events from the mouse. The continuing pointer movement would then be Windows catching up on reports from the mouse from the last second.

What mouse did you use on this PC before you got the FK1+? If it was a normal office mouse, perhaps that worked fine because it was 125Hz report rate instead of 1000Hz?

I used the Logitech G9X mouse before this (no Logitech drivers installed). Acceleration is off and mouse pointer speed is 6/11.

Maybe FK1+ doesn't like the 4HD mousepad? I couldn't find much information on this combo.

PC specs are:

AMD Athlon x4 860k @ 3.7Ghz
Nvidia GTX 750Ti 2GB MSI
7200RPM 1tb Hard drive
8GB DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit SP1

Don't think the PC is the culprit

Try fiddling around with the lod settings. My Zowies were a nightmare using cloth mode on a hardpad. I got constant stuttering and the performance was terrible to say the least. Though the plastic mode was alright, still don't know why it did that.

Managed to get it on video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L65vBl8aqLU&feature=youtu.be

That's what happens occasionally on the Steelseries 4HD pad if I'm moving my cursor around and then stop. Sometimes the cursor moves quicker than shown in the video.

I've tried adjusting the LOD settings to no avail.

This does not seem to happen on the Razer Goliathus Speed mouse pad. I don't like the feel of cloth mouse pads, so it's a shame the FK1+ seems to be having difficulties with the 4HD.

The 4HD isn't the best choice for the 3310 sensor as it isn't a solid colored pad. Ideally, a solid color pad (I prefer black) is optimal. I use this. https://goo.gl/HC54rM

I prefer the feel of the 4HD, not really keen on cloth pads. Are there any good hard plastic ones out there that are similar (if not the same) as the 4HD?
