At any given time, only one model of Deathadder can possibly be new. Give it a few months and the Chroma will no longer be "new", and I'll probably be happily using my new DA Elite.

On the contrary. People only applaud logitech for their similar to razer devices.

For me at least, Logitech devices I have owned have lasted a long time and not broken in a year of moderate use like every razer product I have ever owned (1 keyboard, 4 mice). I also dont buy those $100+ items though cause I think that is pointless, though back when I bought Razer stuff their top end thigns were only $70. The company has drastically raised prices in the last 2 years. Anyway, most expensive thing I will buy for mouse or keyboard is $60. Interestingly, the two ReDragon M901 I have which were only $30 and have the same features as top Logitech and Razer MMO mice has lasted longer than my Razer stuff and has a higher quality feel to it.

This probably is a good thing- it should at least get Razer away from the crap audio they've offered in the past. Simply slapping a THX logo on something does not make it better, but perhaps they (Razer) will at least pay more attention to what they're doing. If Razer improves their situation, then competitors will as well, leading to the eventual improvement of audio quality (importance and value for $$) in the entire industry.

exactly but you can not easily slap thx on something its either pass or fail
and for people to think that the certification will get easier is just plain illogical, that would open the door for class action lawsuit because its not a cheap

Maybe they'll discover MDF, polyfoam, crossovers, etc, and figure out 1 to 2 inch drivers aren't big enough for a living room setting. I'm not counting on it, though.

Since everyone in their top devices started using mechanical keys, prices from everyone got higher, so only challenging razer for it, is a bit hypocritical.
Logitech buffed up their prices as well.

While you can get similar items from other brands, you are not getting the same features.

I had 2 mice from Logitech die on me. A wireless which no longer could be charged a bit after its wheel no longer functioned. And a top end g500 one which had its left click stopped after 7 or so months (they would not replace it). None of that happen to the razer or roccat mice I had. The g510 from Logitech I had, had the screen die after a few months and the f key stopped. I sold the replacement I got since i needed to get a replacement (took 3 weeks for a replacement).

They have Kailh switches ( strictly for cost) and don't pass those savings to the consumer, while some others still use Cherry MX (not logitech)

Logitech and razer aren't far from eachother, but from my experience, most products at least seem better designed and/or use better materials although I don't know how I feel about the Romer G switches.

I'd just rather have Corsairs offerings with Cherry switches.

My Logitech G9x is still rocking just fine.

So is my Logitech illuminated keyboard... although I've spilt liquids on it and had to repair it.

Although, I haven't bought a Logitech product in some years, so maybe their quality has gone down recently?
