Hi all

Anyone else get the Playstation VR?

So far I really like it... except, if you let a bunch of people try it out you'll probably end up getting some sort of cold or flu.

Sony says no kids under 12, and I suggest you strongly enforce that policy. I don't know if really will damage their eyesight, but I do know children are full of germs.

Batman Arkham VR is pretty neat, but should be the free DEMO for the $20 game should be much longer....

Recently picked up Loading Human: Chapter One but I've not tried it yet because my head hurts....

I really hope drivers can be written to make PSVR work with SteamVR in the same way OSVR does.

Did you get the launch bundle or the just the headset?

Wish I would have got the launch bundle when I had the opportunity.

Its a lot of stuff for $100 (more) even if VR Worlds is fluff.

Went back to BB because I was consideing exchanging, but the launch bundles were long gone.

Was not looking forward to putting all that back in the box anyway

Eagle flight definately looks cool and it comes with a demo of Rush of Blood. Pretty Creepy

The (Resident Evil) Kitchen VR demo is pretty creepy too...

I'm considering pre-ordering : Collective Minds PSVR Showcase Rapid AC PS4 VR Charge & Display Stand

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYGCK1M/

Anyway, hope you enjoy your PSVR...
Actually, I'm pretty sure you will

I actually pre-ordered that stand, it looks like it will tidy up the gaming area quite well and its incredibly convenient.

I got the launch bundle from amazon. When I first went to order it, it was out-of-stock. I checked back throughout the day and managed to snag a launch bundle that was in stock for $499

Got around to playing Until Dawn: Rush of Blood tonight. Oh my god, so scary! I literally screamed several times My heart was racing through much of the play-through, it felt so real. Fantastic game!

That one is little gory for me, however it is halloween, so it seem apropos.

If there is one other I'd consider it would probably be Drive Club, but a lot of the reviewers say it's making them sick

I have DriveClub VR and it's pretty bad (and the original DriveClub is still my favorite game of this gen, so that's saying a lot). I get zero motion sickness and I've played for many hours straight so I can't help you there. The VR part is pretty cool (sitting in the cars, etc), but the game itself has been ruined... the handling has been altered so much that it feels like an extreme arcade racer now... akin to Ridge Racer. That's my #1 complaint.

It's only $20 on the PS store, though, so it's probably worth it as another VR game to play around with.

Having not played the other DriveClub games and being more of a casual driving game player, for $20 it's probably worth a shot...

Thanks!

this one also looks kind of interesting:
