[Scratch Build] Desk-PC "Not a ship" - I need your help to set sails, guys. - Page 3

I'd leave the post as it is, maybe add the updated design, but leave the originals there too. A log should be about the entire journey smile.gif

7cm may be cutting it too close. I have a Z170 board with an EK Supremacy Evo water block, from the case to the top of the water fitting is approximately 9cm. You could go lower by using 90 degree fittings (I use 45 degree), but I think even then you may have the fittings touching the glass.

Also, the EK reservoirs are 6cm diameter + the mounting bracket, so may also need a little more room. Not sure if there are thinner ones available.

It's a real battle to keep the desk thin for leg room & being large enough to house everything comfortably. I ended up building mine into the end of the desk to avoid that, it's almost 30cm deep.

I know what you mean about being addicted to a build. I spent half of today drawing up covers to hide my EK Dual D5 pump. Still not happy with any of them!

But it's a fun hobby to have smile.gif

See, that's why I love this forum. Now I know, that I need the EK Annihilator block and therefore may have no other option but using copper tubing. A shame for the big display, but i think it will look good next to the dark steel.

I already thought, that Ill have to make a unique bracket for the reservoir.
