This was my first attempt at a build. Did quite a bit of reading followed by some procrastinating...followed by more reading and even more procrastination.
Eventually I found a killer deal on a new 1080 Seahawk EK($700 shipped) and I bought it. I had everything I needed and I couldn't wait any longer. I sold my GPUs back in May so I have been 5 months without a gaming PC....its been rough.lol I have to say that this was mildly terrifying to do at first. For me 90% of the difficulty of a WC build comes from the fear. In all honesty the setup wasn't even too difficult to install properly.
I did "lightly" mod the H440. I removed the HDD bays to make room for things. That is about it.
Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the pics.
Also here are some temps.

After Battlefield 1 on Ultra 1440p(note the max temp):
Thanks for the positive response guys! I always get a little nervous posting my work around a bunch of fellow enthusiasts/elitists haha.
Leviathan,
I didnt have to do any modding for those SSD mounts. Those were from factory.
Achhh,
A parallel setup like yours may very well be better overall but I was going for the more minimalist/clean approach. Tried to go for a nice mix of form and function. The temps I am getting as of right now are quite low.
great looking build. those temps are very nice. have you done any overclocking?
I did my first water loop a couple months ago and i'm very happy with it. Now I just need to get some sort of additional air conditioning in my PC room with all the heat it dumps LOL. I'd love to do something like what Linus did and moved his entire pc into an attic/closet but many more things will need to happen before that LOL. Its a fun/addictive/expensive hobby but it's so much fun.
I almost have more fun building pc's than i do actually playing games on them...
Very beautiful build! Looks to me like the first time you see the Enterprise in the early Star trek movie in space dock. What couplings did you use? Hose thickness? Congrats!
The case I am working on atm. I need advice about tubing routing and what top rad to use. The other rad I have is a 420 Hardware labs Black ice 2 MP Thanks!
I looked at your last post and if you're working on dark base 900, as it seems to me, take notice : for the top rad, I used a thick one 40 mm
and I discovered that I became embarrassed, because when I changed the position of the mainboard toward the downside of the case, space was lesser than I would like for. So I recommend you a 25mm rad so you don't need to replace your mainboard(if it is a ATX or EATX). The default configuration of your bequiet case is the good one, I think personally. And, to be precise, I placed my rad with two fans(25mm) not directly under the lid but on the top of the inner case. Under the lid is a little fan to exhaust the warm air. But after all that talk, I think maybe you want to place your top rad directly under the lid and for that possibility, good luck!
Tubing routing depends much on what parts (cpu?graphic card?other?)you decide to watercool. By me, I used this scheme : CPU and GRAPHICCARD in parallel. That's a good way to keep the water not too warm...
As you can perhaps notice on my watercooling, it's another serial routing and I have scrapped this configuration...
Thanks I will keep that in mind. Still trying to figure out all this in my head and with pictures.
