Hello guys i have now an amd 7990 (stock cooler) that i buyed from a friend a couple of days ago

As you may know this is a very hot gpu, and since yesterday I noticed that the first gpu was like 10 to 12 degrees (celcius) more then the other in idle, the first was about 62 degrees and the second about 48 degrees

And then searching for clues, I noticed with GPU-Z that the first gpu was in .950v and the second was in 850v

Here you can see

so today I installed the Msi afterburner, to try to change the voltage and im so confused because the info says that the voltage is .950 mv and when I unlock the voltage control the bar is at 1200 mv

Here you can see what im saying

I dont know if that is just the default number because if i change to the second gpu I see that is .850 mv and the bar is also at 1200 mv

someone could help me to know why it raises the voltage, and how can I do so that both have the same voltage, because when you play the first gpu reaches almost 90 degrees with that voltage

Thanks in advance

1st core runs more voltage because its doing all the graphics work of windows so is 1 higher power state.
If you had ulps running youll notice the 2nd core turning off, But last time I was dealing with that it made the computer crash some times so wasnt worth having it on.

Under load is where you want to be comparing the temps. If they get too hot or very far apart in temp then it might need some new thermal paste since its quite on in age now and will be dried out if its never been changed.

In the days that they both have the same voltage, they had nearly the same temperature

But now because of that difference of voltage, they have like 8 to 10 degress of difference

How can I change the voltage of the first gpu to .850v again??? I just move the bar of the msi afterburner to 850???
