I'd hold on for now. There should be newer cards announced during holiday season from both vendors. Nvidia should have the 1080ti ready to launch, should AMD release information about Vega being good. Either ways, you'd get better deal for your $$ than going with either of the 1070/1080 now so close to their EoL.
No doubt the 1080ti will be way better than the 1080.
That's how it's always been.
They're the best card for your money unless you have multi-monitor setup and need the extra VRAM.
It's the only cards I'll buy now. I'd wait.
Looks like the card will be revealed in January and it won't be available until February.
Then another month to actually get the card.
I would think EVGA doesn't even sell cards anymore - They are always sold out...
