Trying to see if I can justify the extra $$ for the CF791 right now.

To mount the M340CLZ, is everyone taking out the four black screws behind the plate to use for their vesa mount?

I came to this conclusion after seeing quite a few of these Microboards

I'd have to agree with you there. So far i've had 3 Crossover 34U100s in my possession (same panel etc), and all three have had some dead pixels. I just wish I didnt like the design of the monitor itself so much. Theres no point to buy one of these cheap Korean monitors now that the Asus MX34VQ is availabile with the same specs for the same price. the Samsung CF791 has also dropped considerably in price at BHPHOTO and Walmart.com

Honestly, this has been one of the most regretful sink hole of a purchase I ever made. I should have waited just a bit longer for variance but alas, patience is not my virtue.

You guys know if there is a way to contact Microboard. I was thinking, if I can't replace the screen, I can possibly replace the board.

I was this close to ordering this. Thank God I didn't.

Don't encourage him. He keeps popping in and out here because he can't make up his damn mind on whether or not he wants this, then when someone posts that they have a problem, he likes to brag that he's happy he didn't get it and that us pathetic beta testers did the work for him. Waste of oxygen.

As said before, I think the processing is borked on the board. I was thinking if I can replace it, that will alleviate most of my problems.
I was on the boat to ordering one of these also but then Samsung dropped the price on the cf791 with shipping tax and all I paid was $850 with no regrets . .
