Korean Microboard M340CLZ 34" 3440x1440 100Hz FreeSync Curved Monitor Discussion Thread - Page 82

I'm happy for you vartaz, you know that m8 wink.gif

My ONLY problem with this monitor is that it's being sold by ONE guy that LIES in private messages that he checks the monitors (while he obviously doesn't even take a look at them).

I avoided getting screwed online a couple times because vigilant people informed me that a particular seller has been doing fishy stuff and if Mr. Angrylobster finds that annoying, I'm literally at a loss of words. Those things should be pointed out and repeated systematically in pretty much the only thread online there is on this particular product, and not hidden behind some stupid "positive correctness" some people are trying to enforce.

If you're (talking to a potential customer here) aware of that and you still want to buy the monitor, hell, lucky lottery I guess! But if you're NOT aware of that, well, you should be. Otherwise, the seller's lies may build up a feeling of false security in you and you end up with something you're not happy with. And feeling scammed in progress.

Hell, if mr. Angrylobster would actually proofread all that I have posted in this thread before jumping to conclusions based on a single post, he'd know that I actually consider the Microboard monitor best UW at the moment regarding quality/price ratio... and that I only feel VERY ambivalent towards the seller.

There is NO need for Dream Seller to lie about checking monitors, he can simply say he just sends them as-is (which is what he does anyway).

I personally can't stand such behaviour.

You accuse this shop (Dreamseller) of lieing, do you realise that this is a serious accusation and that you possibly damage his reputation? Do you even have a solid basis for your accusation ? I looked at this shops e-bay profile, 3500 items sold last 12 months and 99,4% positive feedback, i don't think this seller is a fishy lyer.

If you have some problem or you just don't trust this shop that's ok, but please don't spread your accusations without solid proof, thats almost slander...

Did you even bother to check the link I posted AT ALL?

Did you even bother to read THIS thread where people stated that their monitors have not been opened despite Dream Seller agreeing to check?

Slander? Accusations? Don't make me laugh. You have everything you need and you're still insist on spreading the "positive ignorance" around.

Dream seller is most certainly not a scammer, people are mostly satisfied, but he doesn't do what he promises to do & there is no reason for him to lie about it.

if somebody damages his reputation, it's the seller himself. Nobody forces him to agree to do something and then act otherwise. Following your logic, we should shut up and act like never happened, so that more people can be lured into false security. Nice logic dude. So happy to have such nice forum users around who care more about covering somebody's lies than about fellow gamers trying to buy an expensive monitor.

Wohoo! Grabbed one of the pre orders. Had a moment of doubt, but then remembered how devastated I was when they went out of stock before I got a chance to buy one... Now I just have to wait a month and hope for a decent panel!

After one month my monitor finally arrived here in NZ

Damn, this thing is beautiful! So far I've just watched a movie in the widescreen goodness that it was actually made for. With freesync on I got stuttering and occasional flickering while watching the movie, with freesync off it was all good. I guess this is because the movie frame-rate of 24fps is too low for freesync to work correctly?

Has anyone under-clocked this to 96fps to watch movies? biggrin.gif

Any dead pixels or image problems?

^

Zero dead pixels, colours are washed out as many have previously noted. Will have to fix that.

I asked dreamseller to mark the package at $US299 to avoid a large customs tax bill. It worked.
