I have an Asus Hero VIII Alpha mother board. It has a PWM for both fan control and pump for the CPU. If I was just cooling the CPU I would just wire stuff up this way but I want to cool the GPU too. I plan on running an Asus 1080 video card. How should I wire my fans and pump? Can you over cool parts? If I run the CPU and GPU on the same water loop can I still run the fans and pump off the motherboard or could that over heat the GPU? If I am running both CPU and GPU on the same line should I run the pump 100% all the time and just run the radiator fans off the water temp? I notice the GPU I want has a fan header on it. Can I use this to run a pump instead and run the fan for the radiator off the water temp if doing a split system? Are the fans and pumps ran on the same voltage and frequency and can I put a PWM pump in place of a PWM fan? Am I over thinking this? How is every one wiring there cooling system?
