Very nice--patience and careful work certainly paid off! Also like the work Jim did for you, and might touch base with him myself.

Btw, how are your boy and wife doing? Hope everything turned out well in the end.

Thanks for the kind words and concern. This year has been a life changer. We spent 68 days straight in the NICU. He was born early do to a arythmia called SVT more specifically PJRT. His heart has a extra electrical pathway that triggers now and then and sends him into high heart rates in the 250s. We spent those days testing medicine and after a lot of roller coasters and some ups and downs and feeling absolutely helpless we made it out. He came home last Wednesday and I've gotten about 6 hours sleep sense. He needs heart meds every 3 hours to control the svt until he's 3-4 to go and get a ablation. Needless to say it's rough. But very proud of him and blessed. I'm pullin a all nighter for mom right now. Watching him

Admits all this we tore off the back of our house 2 days before he came early to do a master bath bed add on. And are still under construction! The final doozy was I just happened to be on a 7-12s job for his home stay at the nicu. Worked6-6 for 76 days and was at hospital 6-11 nightly.

I'll be glad when life normalizes but very much in love 😍

Just installed some cedar shake on me eves today !

Beautiful.

My boy had a serious case of asthma the first two years of his life or so, and we spent one to two worrying weeks in the hospital with him a number of times, during that period. I was finishing up my military career at the time (at what used to be George AFB in Victorville), and was lucky enough to have had a supervisor who kept me back from deploying to Desert Shield during that same period. He eventually grew out of the asthma completely after a number of years, and is looking at his upcoming 28th birthday this summer.

Cherish the time with him, they grow up way too fast. smile.gif

It's really looking good now, one of the best S8 builds I've seen.

But it means nothing compared to the well-being of your son.
He's been real trouper, getting through all that he has had to go through, so early in his life.
As you mentioned, in a few years he will be able to get a ablation, and I truly hope that will work out for the best.

Nice work on the house, and what a beautiful place to live, in California.

Looking forward to seeing that custom reservoir and mid-plate running coolant through them.
And the Rapture artwork glowing!
