Yeah, I don't understand the hype for this pad. Mine is sitting in the box because it's nearly identical to my black PS-R. To the point where I can't really tell a difference. They both have a medium feeling glide. Not really fast, not really slow, but a tiny bit on the slower side. I think it's a good pad for 800> DPI players. If you're below that, you probably want something with a bit more glide.

It's supposed to feel like the old Blue GSR and the old Blue GSR feels nothing like the new Black GSR.

I mean call me crazy but I've used the 5m one for 2 days now and I recall the blue one being different. The hltv one just feels similar to the black gsr, a little quicker but similar

The blue one I recall being fast.. like way faster

Keyword being supposedly, but I think they just claim this to entice people to buy into the hype. I still definitely prefer the non-stitched edges and it definitely feels faster than my Black G-SR after some comparison tests but I really wish I had an old Blue G-SR to compare with.

I highly recommend you look at the QCK heavy for that, the logitech stock skates seem to glide well across that kind of surface - I know exactly what you're talking about and those skates feel like mud on the black g-sr

Not sure about the stock Logitech feet, but I recently switched back to my G Pro with Hyperglides and the glide is really smooth on the HLTV mousepad. The white EC2-A started to get too slippery for my liking when the weather got really warm. When the weather was cooler, my grip with the glossy coating was perfectly fine.

You got the 3mm or 5mm? Wondering if the mouse I'm using has bad skates for the hltv pad cause it doesn't feel fast at all or maybe the cable is really really dragging

I have the 5mm. I tried my G Pro, White EC2-A, Black EC2-A, and Deathadder Elite on the mousepad and I've had no problems with glide. The G Pro and EC2-A's had hyperglides on and my Deathadder Elite had stock mouse skates.

Can you record you flinging some of those mice across the pad? Really curious like do they glide off the edge or stop immediately
