Problem with TiTan X

Thread Starter
I am running windows 10 pro with 128gb memory new installation. When I tried to load the NVidia driver, I receive a message saying the software is not compatible with my version of windows. I sent NVidia a report but received no answer. Any one else have this problem? Is there a known solution?

Did you download the 32 bit driver by mistake?

No, I used GeForce experience initially for the 64b version, then tried the manual download from Nvidia. I was offered driver 375.70 in both cases which didn't work.

Download displaydriver uninstaller and boot to safe mode with the program. And click remove drivers for installing new GPU. Then reboot and install ur nvidia.drivers

Installation failed with the message, "This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows." The displaydriver tool appeared to have worked perfectly in safe mode but I get the same message when I try to load the driver. Thanks for your help.

Could you send us a DxDiag?
That'll make it a lot easier to figure out exactly what's going wrong.

Your windows is an older build nr, you need to update it, and it will work fine.

I got a response from NVidia asking for my nfo file. from that they stated that my windows version, 1501 build10240 was out of date for pascal and suggested that I install a new version and gave me a link. This would not install until I removed all but 16gb of my memory. After installing the 1607 update, I was able to install the 375.86 NVidia drivers and restore my memory. I'm still having problems but that solved my most immediate concern. Thank you for your help.
