Hey guys!
So I've had my new Acer 1440p monitor for 3 months now. Absolutely LOVE this thing. Wow have I been missing out at 1080p...DANG! Who knew the window into my PC could look so clear!
Well now I've got a couple of questions...
1. Color calibration... How on earth are you supposed to do this? Just look at pictures with all different colors and see if its good? I've heard some people with color profiles and adjustments, I have no idea how they're coming up with this stuff. If I had to guess though, my monitor seems well calibrated and I've got the digital vibrancy turned up quite a bit on my NVCP.
2. Blue light - I'm usually on my PC early mornings and sometimes in the evening. Blue light is pretty annoying to me and I think it also contributes to some headaches I get while on the PC. I can adjust the color spectrum quite easily. However, should I reduce the brightness of the blue color or gamma? Or both?
This thing is pretty impressive. I went up from a 23" to 25" and I can definitely tell its bigger but the resolution is amazing the difference.
Thanks guys!
