X71 Watercooler + Peltier Update!

When I started testing I noticed the wires got warm, so I shortened the wires there was a noticeable improvement from 265W to 304W on average ...

However, the result was a little disappointing because at full load I only got 2 to 3º C of reduction of temperature in the VGA and CPU, in IDLE the result is better almost 6º C.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong or what could I change to improve the results?

peltier + rad (and much rad) useless, water temp will meet ambient temp by the rads...
i was tried peltier + rads, even my cpu and 2 gpu not running, water temp will be meet ambient temp...
i am not expert on this, but that what i found. direct contact peltier cold side to cpu or try without rads, then you will notice the different an also condensation problem...

I have a plan for this too, me and a buddy studied them well.
one side of a single peltier cooler I'm going to use an extra CPU block ( the cold side of the Peltier ) tied into my loop, since the other side produces massive output heat, I was going to use my old H100i CPU cooler to cool the hot side, since you need to cool that side or the whole theory is not going to work, OH and after reading about how the peltier cooler works, best not to tie it in your loop or the heat from the peltier cooler will heat your fluid up and then it's not getting the system cool enough to have it actually worth setting up.

even a fan with a fan-heatsink block on the hot side will cool it well, but the colder the better.

Still waiting on my GPU block but that's the last piece I need and I finally be able to setup my loop FINALLY........ smile.gif

Can any of you's tell me how well does the one rear grommet in the mid plate, the closet to the GPU align up to the GPU blocks fittings.
Trying for as straight lines as I can but love to get my mid plate led cover done, but need to know where to put that one bulkhead pass through in my acrylic plate.
I'm hoping it lines up to that one mid plate grommet hole so there's no need to drill another one.

It's the one directly in front of the GPU where you can look in and see the backside of the PSU, right in front of the upper chamber PSU cover.

Thanks guys builds are looking awesome, keep building keep modding.

How are you spouse to mount a radiator and a fan in the basement. The screws included with my EK-CoolStream XE 360 are to short to go through the Vardar fans and the flat piece of metal that's in the basement for mounting a radiator.

What I'm trying to get the screw through
Fans -> Flat metal that's in the basement of the case used to mount fans -> Radiator

I'll add images to better explain the issue if I get the chance later today.

pict below top rad + fan + space around 25mm+60mm+25mm... that space beatwean rad and top case so the fan no t to loud, same like middle rad.

hardware labs 420 rad not mach all fan mounting hole with case mounting hole, need little mod to mount rad n fan.

using 250 res + dual D5 pump house, not enough space if using 25mm fan + 60mm rad

very tight space, 2x 360 rad (pe ek rad) + slim 420 rad 30mm thick
How did you mount the bottom radiator and fans. The screws I have aren't long enough.

Sorry for late response,
I mounted with fan bracket, just find the right hole to mount on frame, and one fan with one bracket, that will be enough to secure the rad.
