It's not OK. Are u agree?

Did you notice real world difference in performance?

or are you just constantly benchmarking?

Use atto 3.05 to benchmark.

If small file performance is lacking then you have an issue.

Daily usage having 2100 vs 3500mb makes zero difference.

I'm totally agree about zero REAL difference. I mean another moment - Samsung released firmware, that constantly broke thier own speedtest (or speeds itself). It's not OK in my opinion.

U said: "Nevermind, no real difference, just use the drive and have fun". If there is no explanation about speed-drop or solution i will "have fun". But my perfectionist is crying biggrin.gif

I don't use or care about samsung benchmark as it's not always accurate or a representation of real world use.

Try atto 3.05 to see various file size performance and post that

Same thing for me, also 960 Pro 512 GB !!!

After updating firmware the transfer rates droped really really low, so i forced a trim and now the transferrates are fine, so everybody with bad transferrates force a trim!

What do u mean "force the trim"? Win10 has enabled TRIM for SSD by default.

I have the same DRIVE not recognized on Magician problem on my 960 EVO 500GB. It was OK but did not boot, had to restart, and after that get drive not supported by Magician, what's going on? I have new hardware Asus Z270-F and Windows 10 latest firmware and driver. Its possible the drive has some problems?

Magician no longer recognizes my 960 Pro OR 840 Pro as genuine and I can't run tests on them. My solution was to uninstall Magician, run tests with real drive test software, then pretend it didn't happen since they're running fine.

Defrag and optimize drives > run optimize and that forces whole drive to be trimmed.
