My Taichi PC in my rig builder thing. I *was*getting advertised speeds, but something happened. I'll have to double check my bios to make sure it didn't bump down from 4x. Mobo is AsRock Taichi x370 with the 4.0 bios I think.

Anyone have any theories as to why Samsung takes so long in between driver releases? Shouldn't they be releasing new drivers with performance improvements much more often than they do? We have been on 2.2 now since March and I find that seriously slacking tbh.

Hmm, seems kinda strange for a company not in such great shape this year and with their image on the line and not looking so good. Slack for too long and they could lose their head start they have had for years now.

Theres a difference in loading game time between nvme and hdd/ssd but between two nvme i dont think so i would go evo. I dont believe these have failure issues so extended warranty doesnt matter to me as i change pc every 3-4 years. For 75 euros, for your needs, depending on how long you want to keep it, id say go evo, but thats me.

Nothing to fix?

All of their software and firmaware have a long cycle, but they are pretty solid.

That is not possible, there is always something to fix or improve with new tech. I think they must be putting their resources towards a newer device and to heck with older devices.
