all QcK (except maybe the Prism hard pad) are going to be slower than the G-TFX in every way possible.

If you dont mind your pad to be stuck and not moving. Try thin double-sided carpet tape. I used on mine and it is always flat now. I taped on the border of the pad and a X and I am actually enjoying this pad.

I'll give that a try . I don't mind if it's not moving, as long as it stays still and flat.

Well as long as it doesn't feel like the mouse is stuck on the pad from forming some sort of static electricity or w/e you call it. Basically after playing with pads like .. Goliathus, Gigantus for like 30-60 minutes and then if I lift my mouse there's sort of a "zap" sound and when I feel my finger over the feet I get a tiny electric zap from it. Although this issue is the worst with Gigantus. All I have to do after a gaming session is lift my GIgantus off the table and I hear this "zapping" sound all over the pad for a while.

Can anyone confirm this?

I can compare the Limited to an old Qck Mass. They're very different. Limited has slightly smoother glide; it's also more comfortable to touch versus the rougher Qck Mass. I think the Limited is most similar Corsair MM300 in terms their 'micro-weave,' but still the Limited is smoother to touch in this comparison too. I would imagine the Qck cloth pads with printed designs offer slightly smoother glide than their raw version.

reference an old reddit post from someone who claimed to have worked for steelseries: reddit.com/r/MousepadReview/comments/5vt3wb/-/de5dvqg/
"because of the heat (+time) needed to print on the surface"

I tried the limited, had this horrible sticky feeling as the glorious, XTRFY, satin like weird surface.
Hated it personally.

Doesn't it have a spray coating applied upon that surface? That could be your weird, satin like finish that's sticky........

Do not have the actual mouse pad here just going on with what others have said, so don't go all ape if I'm wrong on this.

Sticky for the mouse or the hand? Which pad do you think don't have it?

But to be sure you have one with a revision the back side should have dozens of mini qck logos all over it - the old one just has the little line pattern. But the one I got from SS direct I swear had a slightly different packaging by the text - aka the sponsors/team names on the text is different but I don't know if anything different happened to the pad there. But as long as the little logos are on the back you'll know you have a revised one

What's the difference between old and new qck? Does it grip better? Is it by any means softer or harder?
