I'm weird and have worn out many trackballs over the decades.

Teasing a bit, but even the wife has gotten used to a track ball these days. was funny when I used to watch her to watch her try to move it around on the desk long ago.
im pretty sure its the same mouse that comes in the cooler master masterkeys lite L keyboard and mouse combo. But in that combo it uses an avago 3050 sensor.
My only gripe so far is that glides are recessed like in the Pro L version. People complained about them not being thick enough which caused the underside to scratch the mouse pad. Hopefully they learned their lesson.

For normal S version isn't there like 5 profiles as well and 4 DPI levels from 400-7200 in 100 DPI steps for each profile? Atleast according to CM mastermouse S homepage. That should be more than enough, even though 100 dpi steps instead of 50 might be problem for some.
I'm just wondering if it would be possible to assign that Storm Tactix function on default DPI button itself and while it is pressed in, could just use mouse wheel up and down to adjust DPI levels and middle click for profile cycle when holding Storm Tactix button. I'm not too familiar with Cooler Master's software, so not sure if it would be possible?
Well, my CM Storm Spawn has kicked absolute butt...bought it for $35 Canadian when they were new, it still works like new, looks new...and I am still able to be one of the top, probably top 10, maybe top 5, world wide (even with a 60Hz monitor), in the game I play mostly. I've used 2 mice for the past 15+ years...yeah, 2...Logitech G5 SE and CM Storm Spawn. I would buy products from both brands again.

A review of this mouse has been posted today on the Polish site pclab.pl and generally they praise the sensor, shape (depending on your hand size and grip of course) and also build quality and materials. They don't mention anything negative regarding glides. The biggest issue is the cable which is not smooth rubber but rubber with tiny grooves which adds very noticeable friction. Also buttons and scroll wheel are "average". The review might be worth checking out just for the photos.
cooler master twittered to me that ther were free dpi steps meshed into 4 steps u can save to th eprofile on twitter. I will check out the 40 $ version- the shape could be good
