G.SKILL DDR4 RGB Lighting with Trident Z Series Thread - Page 42

Good news! G.Skill has started listing X99 RGB kits! The price is eye-watering though biggrin.gif

LINK

EDIT: The spec still says "Dual Channel" yet the QVL lists ASUS X99 boards. Maybe because of AURA and not the actual X99 chipset support?

Wow, cool! Thanks for the heads-up.

Oh and yes, they are pricey. :-/

Please let us know if you pull the trigger on a set.

Man I have never seen memory start off not on QVL and being told by G.Skill you can't use it than all the sudden you can use it lol....

The lack of Quad Channel kits is killing it for me, I hate to buy a 32 gig kit just to game.

Already did, although 419 bucks is a tough pill to swallow. Anyway, I'm building my loop now and I won't be able to swap ram easily once it's all done. So better now than later. Also, memory prices are said to get even higher throughout this year... frown.gif

Damn, I thought they are starting to get lower when summer comes. Guess I'll have to wait more to get 16GB more for reasonable price.

Hey guys, I had the c16 3200 version on my Ryzen build (and would only run at 2133) and I could control them using aura just fine.. I RMA'd them and got the c14 version (which run at 3200 no questions asked) and now I can't for the life of me get them to show up in aura or the g. skill software.. any ideas? Thanks
