G.SKILL DDR4 RGB Lighting with Trident Z Series Thread - Page 50

Has anyone got to control the RGBs without installing the G.Skill software using just AURA? My sticks are just rainbowing away while the rest of the system lighting responds to AURA. That said, the kit is performing beautifull so far, 3000MHz at CL14 is no slouch biggrin.gif

Yeah some of mine wiggle others don't. What can you do id venture to say you'd go through tons of these kits to get some that are all none wiggling but I thought to myself at the end of the day it does nothing different it doesn't rattle I'll never touch it so if it moves a bit when I pull on it who cares.

I got the 3466C16 64GB Kit.

Running it in a RVE with a 5960X @ 3200 C14-14-14-34-2t

1. Enabled the Write to SPD option first
2. Installed G skill software
3. Set them up
4. Profit!

Not true. I just assumed you were aware of the issue that g skill and aura is causing to these modules, its widespread just do a googLe search on something like g skill rgb led module not working or something like that.
The software(s) are corrupting the modules and causing them to go dark, nothing can bring them back except purchasing software and reflashing the spd or RMA your kit. It happened to one of mine in my 16gb kit. Returned it and got a 32gb kit. I was only using Aura, g skill has never been installed on my system.
