I'm super excited for this mouse. I had a Kone Pure Military and I loved the shape even though I almost exclusively use ambidextrous mice. Mine had some problems (cable was very stiff and inflexible, LMB had some weird "pre-click" flexing, software was not very good and sensor had the ol' changing dpi when you lifted it up glitch) so I went back to my G303 that I've been using since then (probably like 18 months). I had some pretty nice accuracy with the KPM and I'm looking forward to this.

I recently got a version of the KPM that also had that pre-click flexxing on the left click button (best way to describe it is like a tactile bump from blue/brown keyboard switches)

I had good accuracy with the KPM, but the reason why I don't use it as my main is that it has a weird bug where if you click or move the mouse when the computer is turned off the mouse would turn on (lights on while pc is off). Then when I turn the pc on, the mouse doesn't work despite the lights and I would have to re-plug the mouse to get it working again.

Hopefully the 2017 version has better quality and addresses those bugs

Sounds more like a BIOS issue to me.

As for button pretravel before reaching the switch and/or fast wear - tell Roccat to start making thick square plungers on the shell instead of thin rectangle ones. Mines have gotten grooves in them in only half a year of use, the pretravel is now noticeable.

It could be a BIOS issue, but the KPM is the only mouse I have that does this. All the other mouses I have don't light up or do anything when I click/move them around while the computer is off.

USB Legacy support is switched on or off in BIOS?

For some reason the Logitech G Pro just didn't jive with me - those slanted sides just irked me too much. I don't know why Logitech always finds a way to muck up their mice.

G Pro was overhyped and nothing special. The shape was way off compared to G100s etc. Grip was bad. My hand cramped after several hours when using G Pro. I could use G100s and even the cheap RX 250 office mouse for hours and hours.

G403 is far better than G Pro IMO, and I'll get G403 if Kone Pure 2017 does not work for me, or if (too) delayed.

G Pro sides are garbage, I love the G100s, but G pro is impossible to use for me.
I use G403 atm, but it is to bulky for me, the MEGA hump in the middle makes it hard to grip.

So still awaiting the new Kone smile.gif

This name will be badly confusing. please add a differentiating word to the name. or better, You can rename the whole thing with a new unique name.

I don't think renaming the whole thing would be wise since many are already familiar with the kone pure shape and the name signifies that classic shape. I do think they need to add something to the name though. Even just Kone Pure Owl-Eye would be fine.
