hoping the coating is nice

Only reasonable review will come from "Ino" hence I'm waiting upon him to provide that all inclusive but very truthful review on this Roccat Mouse.

I would only believe him in regards to trusting his overall impression of quality and price value.

Suspect Roccat may try to avoid Ino at all costs..... wave2.gif

Only one way to find out, i pre-ordered it from amazon.de. biggrin.gif One final question, do you guys think i'ts possible to "adjust" you palm grip to the shape or it's impossible like the g pro for example? The thumb curve is confy for me it feels like an ergo but the right side is not.

Mice i've used in the past (palm grip) without issues:

Nixeus revel (and every sensei clone like dm1-s)
wmo
ec2-a
za11
g403
fm s1

(big ergo like dae/ventus x excluded for obvious reasons tongue.gif)

The only mouse i bought and couldn't palm grip no matter what i tried is the g pro, i even applied tennis overgrips with double sided tape to the sides to make it wider and easier to palm but it gave me wrist pain after 1 hour tops.

I can palm the KPM fine with 19.5x10cm hands.
If I do a STRICT palm (totally straight fingers) they do extend just a little bit but not much.

How are the stock mouse feet on Roccat mice? Does anyone use aftermarket skates on their Kone Pure and, if so, which ones?

They are surprisingly good on my Savu.

@ROCCATstudios
Savu remake, yes, please? 3361, non 90° rotated sensor, everything the same? One of the best mouse shapes I've ever laid hands on.

Ino actually already tested the coating thumb.gif

The surface of the mouse is definitely one of the best I've ever seen. Not only does it look and feel like high quality, it also sticks to my hand really well, even during high speed motions. This means I can grip the mouse in a rather relaxed way, optimal for prolonged gaming sessions. I'm not sure what the surface is exactly, as it doesn't look like a coating."

Since you are from Germany, you can try out the old Kone Pure at Media Markt, Saturn etc. Shapewise it didn't change. Just the coating is different so the feel will be different (Also because of the weight distribution).

Unfortunately it didn't do too good on the market. Right now it is not planned to reboot the Savu. What did you like about the shape the most?

Unfortunately i'm not from Germany but i can still order from amazon.de biggrin.gif We have mediamarkt and other retail stores here to try out the shape, the problem is i need at least a day or two of playtime before i can judge the shape/weight etc. For example i bought the g502 because i tried it in a local store and it didn't seem that heavy at all, after using it for a day it gave me wrist pain and it was unfomfortable for long sessions due to the weight.

I think a lot of people want something between EMP and Pure regarding the size, weight sure is preference but from my experience 100g with good distribution is pretty much the maximum weight you guys should aim for competitive play. I might be wrong on this one and is all preference but judging from what csgo pros use the biggest ergo mice are the DAE/Rival300/EC1-A and all of them are in the ~100g category with good weight distribution.

It's just comfy for my grip. My current main is a ZA13 which I really love but I think I'd use the Savu if there'd be a reboot.
