Roccat Kone Pure Owl-Eye (2017) - 3361 - 88g - Page 69

I got mine today. Will return it immediately and continue to use my old Kone Pure Black Edition. The material and the surface feel cheap at the 2017. The mouse wheel clicks too light, so I always click when scrolling. And somethings fishy with the mousefeet or the corpus itself, i can feel the texture of the mousepad when moving the mouse. as if the material is just too... i dont know... just cheap, or too thin. I dont have that problem with my black edition. And i dont even have heavy textures on my roccat sense... im sending it back now, im just disappointed. Roccat ruined a near perfect mouse...

Make sure the mousefeet aren't literally upside down. That happened on my very first KPM.

Roccat: Please consider changing the shape of the feet on the Kone Pure lineup in the future. I know they're "safe" since you already use the shape, but it would be a lot easier to replace or "fix" them if they were thin, like you could lay teflon tape right over them.

I got my hand on a Roccat Kone Pure with the ADNS-9800 and the shape just felt perfect !
Ist the new Kone Pure gonna be the same shape ? I just really want that shape with a grippy surface, cause I have sweaty hands.

Just got mine. I really like the coating in comparison to my KPM, big improvements here! Love the form as it is unchanged but I also have a rattle in my mouse. Not as loud as it is in the corresponding reddit thread, but still noticable, doesn't seem to be caused by a rattling sensor though.

Do you think it's just the mouse wheel? I have that on my G502 / ZA11 too.

No, it's not the mouse wheel. At least I don't think so. Pressed the wheel and shook the mouse, same reaction :S

The coating is different, it's called UV coating, I agree that it does feel cheap and plasticy but it is more durable than the previous rubberized coating of kone pure laser or black edition.
I have the Kone EMP at my work, which has the same UV coating,

It could be one of the buttons being loose.
