I just received mine and my first impression were very positive. I have been using the Logitech G Pro for 6 months untill the cable went bad I went back to my old Zowie FK2 and realised I actually performed better with the FK2. This was because of the wider humb which I prefer to have a better contact with my Palm over the egg shaped a more narrow hump on the G Pro.
And this mouse actually have a even wider humb which cover a bigger part of my palm. I use a hybrid claw grip. I did a few swipes over the mousepad and I actually already fall in love with the shape and it feels more comfortable then my Zowie FK2 which I actually already liked.
The clicks are very nice on the M1/M2. The G Pro on the otherhand were too light and sensitive and the FK2 is very stiff. This one has a good middleground. The scroll and the side buttons seems really nice too. The mouse feels sturdy and the build quality is great.
The only thing I dislike about the mouse are the mousefeet. The glide feels scratchy on my Zowie GTF-X. It might need to break in abit to have my final conclusion on that.
The other thing I dislike is the cable ( braided ), which is not really a issue since I will replace it anyways with a paracord cable. Got some Tiger gaming mousefeet coming on the way to replace the stock ones. I just pray and hope at some point Hyperglide start to make some mousefeet for ROCCAT mices since they are my favorites.
It would be great if some mice company approach Hyperglide to make mousefeet for their products.
I will wait till the season ends from Overwatch since I dont want to mess my aim, currently in Grandmaster and playing mostly hitscan. But I will try the next day the mouse out when I am not playing competitive and fully swich over to it later on.
My overall first impression are very positive, well done Roccat
