Mine just came, haven't done much yet, but I haven't got any rattle with mine whatsoever (shaking up/down and left/right, etc.)

It means that you've got the latest batch, which is rock solid whith no rattles at all (rattles were generated by buttons and scroll wheel and not by sensor lense)

I don't doubt this but I didn't see a post from Roccat or anyone saying there is a new batch number yet. Not all of the mice in batch 1 are going to have issues. That's the way mice always are.... There are batches that have a higher chance of having issues but it's not guaranteed that the mouse will have issues if its part of a batch that has high reports of a problem. Honestly I think this is just part of manufacturing and manufacturing costs and seems to be the case with mice universally across all brands. The cost of the machines and tooling that would be required to have the tolerances low enough that every single mouse is good is probably way too expensive to buy for the manufacturing of a $70 product. That is why we will always have some people get duds and some people get perfect ones from the same batch with any manufacturer.

In a previois page, I asked it was better to order the mouse from roccat website or amazon, so I was sure not get the one with loose buttons, and one of the roccat members said that now amazon has the latest batch.

I believe he said both Amazon and their shop has the same batch. I may be wrong though.

"It's the same batch right now for Amazon and our shop."

I think he ment that amazon also has the same batch as their shop now.

I think there is no second "better" batch yet so that's why amazon and roccat web shop have the same, can @ROCCATstudios confirm this?

i don't think so either. i mean how would that happen, the mouse is out since last tuesday - assume 1 or 2 days for feedback, figure out solutions, get the factory to fix these and get the new version sent to germany's amazon within 5 days overall? seems highly unlikely.

i have a first day version, without any rattle. so far nothing to complain quaility wise.

He just confirmed it is the same batch, there are no "v2 batches"
Just think about the timeframe, it would be impossible to produce and get a totally new batch out just like that, logical, there is also nothing confirmed wrong with the current batch, plenty of people just here confirmed zero problems.
