I ordered one, the community presence of Roccat's team made the difference. I can't grip the g403 properly (buttons are too elevated) and the DA Chroma is a bit large.

Different click sound i guess comes from new coating, so nothing to complain about. and it's 50mio omrons now on main buttons

Could actually make sense if they used different materials.

I think the different click sound comes from the new switches biggrin.gif

I think you will like it. I have the same grip issues with the 403 and the DA Elite and I quite enjoy the grip and feel of the KPM. How big are your hands? The Pure17 is definitely a tad smaller than the 403 or the DA.

18.5cm

Got it today, some quick impressions after some gaming/testing.

  • Shape is not for me, it's not bad it didn't make my hand cramp or anything like the g pro for example but it's not comfortable either. I have 18.5/19*12cm hands and tried to palm grip it. I could aim fine with it(not great but considering the dpi difference and the new shape i think i did good) but it's highly unlikely to become my main daily driver.
  • Cable is mediocre, someone compared it to DAE i think, no way it compares to it. DAE's cable is like a paracord, this is much worse, needs debraid/paracord for sure.
  • Wheel is fine but makes noise when scrolling fast, didn't happen on my old laser XTD. It's good but i don't get the hype around it tbh.
  • There is a slight rattle, i think it's m1 that causes it, not noticeable during gameplay though so not a big issue but it shouldn't happen.
  • m1/m2 clicks are fine nothing spectacular but not bad either. My modded g403 with the same switches feels a lot better, it's probably due to the separated buttons though.
  • Sensor is good as expected, i did run some mousetester plots, nothing weird everything is as expected from a 3360 variant.
  • DPI is a little higher i measured it between 410-420 dpi but this is normal.
  • Weight balance is good, it feels light but there is drag due to the braided cable.
  • Coating is very good.
  • Software is great, maybe the best I've tried.

Overall a solid mouse if you like the shape.

Are you serious ? It's usable, but I think LGS is so much better. Profiles per Application, much better lighting, doesn't take a few seconds to actually selected apply settings, specific lighting for ingame scenarios work instantly and almost flawlessly.

Should be good for you unless your hands are thin. My hands are 18CM and it fits quite well. It also depends on how thick your hands are as well. Someone with very thin hands is going to need a much bigger mouse than someone with thicker hands.

I actually think I like Roccats approach better than LGS honestly. You can make an unlimited number of profiles for your mouse and set all your settings like DPI, Lighting & Color button behavior etc and then each time you get a new game you assign the game's exe to the profile. Basically backwards of LGS but it makes way more sense to me because instead of building a profile or searching for a custom profile for each game you can just have a few profiles that you like and or commonly use and just assign the game to the profile... Much faster than the LGS approach. I have a profile I commonly use that sets the lights to one color, sets the DPI to 800 and 1600 with a default of 1600, and a few other small things and each time I get a new game I just go in and add it to that profile. Makes things consistent and I always know how it's going to behave without having to remember because it behaves the same in every game I assign to it.
