The Forum Folding Wars (FFW) is a contest that runs for a week between teams of folders. You fold for a week straight while your points are tracked. The teams are tracked, and a champion is crowned each year. You should join Team BBQ because, well...
If you already have a folding name and passkey, just use it and don't change a thing!
If you don't have a folding name or a passkey, here is one with a bonus enabled passkey so you get the bonus points:
User Name: Team_BBQ (team name is case sensitive)
Passkey: 13629d061ad0cd23f719fb2570cc4551
Team #: 37726
Will be folding with the 980 Ti.
Didn't run f@h for a few months, but my rig is now under water.
Time to find folding stable clocks... Will aim for 1550-1600
I'll be at full strength for the FFW thankfully. Comcast has screwed me this week for the FaT, I got my blackberry feeding my 1070 work units over hotspot currently.
Any ideas why my 280x fails WUs in ubuntu 14.04? Is that still not supported? Trying to save $ but I'm strongly tempted to just give up on everything fglrx and get a 1070.
edit: "0x21:Bad State detected... attempting to resume from last good checkpoint. Is your system overclocked?"

well I decided to join your team... I love BBQ after all...
I am new to folding, as mentioned to lanofsong already in pm,... I am getting into folding because my wife is a cancer survivor and I wanted to contribute something to the research that folding does to help find a cure for that and of coarse many other diseases. I am currently folding on a fury x ... I tried to fold on my laptop a little, but lol... it is pathetic compared to the fury. I've been working 12 hrs a day at work and letting this fold at night... would leave it on during the day, but power here is unreliable... .I have battery backup, but it's not large enough really.
So, just curious, doe anyone know how a fury x stacks up as far as folding power goes? Just in a few hours of folding at night I've managed to come close to a quarter million points... is that pretty much normal, bad or what?
I don't know how well it will hold up in the long run, but one thing I do like about the fury x is it stays comfy cool even after hours of folding... hovers around 55C
