@Eagle1337

I've recently reinstalled windows and I still have that issue that RAM lights are on when computer is in sleep mode, mobo lights are off. I think this is software issue which Asus should fix.

Made an interesting discovery, in case this helps anyone else. I have a Texas Instruments Firewire card that I use for a Presonus Firestudio Mobile audio interface. I was getting horrible audio stutters while the 960 EVO NVMe drive was being accessed. Looked in the manual and saw that PCIEX8_2 is on it's own IRQ, so I moved the card over to that slot and the problem was fixed.

0801 and 0906 run much the same for me but where as i got my E-Die 3200 corsair kit to 3600 on my old Asrock Fatality I'm yet to get past 3466 on the apex. I realise I should get some B-Die but no more $$ ATM so I'm still fiddling....

edit: got it at 3600 using the 3733 profile and pulling back the freq

Hey guys, if anyone is interested in bench marking there Asus rigs and getting involved in a fun competition. ASUS is hosting a competition on hwbot and ocesports that is focused on newcomers and air/water overclocking.

http://oc-esports.io/#!/round/rogocs17_teamedition

ROG OC Showdown Team Edition is a new competition aimed to teams of enthusiasts overclockers. Everyone, from every league is welcome to join and a ton of cool prizes are up to grab for both teams and individuals overclockers.

The competition is open from April 14th and June 5th. To have more chances to win, you will have to co-work with your teammates and submit your best scores. Make sure to check out the competition rules and per stage limitation.

Get your rig ready and start benching!

It starts tomorrow, there are a lot of different rules and guidelines that need to be followed. If anyone is interested and needs some help getting started, please let me know and I will help you out. We have almost a month to get our scores in.

There are some great prizes available also.

There is also a thread on hwbot which could be good to read to help understand some things better. And an ASUS article.
