Sorry Bud, I pre-ordered mine here in Convict Town and still NO delivery of said item.

Instead it's already posted for sale on Flebay and it looks like I would have a better chance of snagging this new model from them, instead of relying on the morons here in my Country to deliver it.

I tried it last weekend, the "sniper" button is in the most horrific place, otherwise it's great.

Decided to try the Strix Impact. It has the worst imaginable feet. They are made of the same material as the rest of the mouse, which makes the mouse feel like it's superglued to the pad. It makes the mouse useless despite the awesome shape and buttons.

Top "feet" have the same texture.

So not a protective sticker on it?

Reminds me of when the Kinzu V1 and Kana were made with plastic mouse feet. lachen.giflachen.giflachen.gif

There is no protective sticker ... That's what the feet are like on this mouse lol.

What kills me more than anything is the fact they removed the switch sockets. That was literally the feature that made the mouse standout enough to warrant a purchase among the competition.

I mean, the fact this comes standard with 50 mil switches is cool or whatever (I mean...the Sica had 5 mil, which was upgraded corrected to 20 for the white version) but they really stuck with the 3310. And that isn't even a 3310 bash, it's just one less thing to justify the release.

I will agree that the Sica shape is great, albeit slightly small for me.
