So I am looking to get a 1440p IPS monitor strictly for gaming. I have an EVGA 1080 ftw hybrid and I am maxing out games with ease in 1080p so I figured it's time for an upgrade. I won't be doing SLI so I feel 4K is out of the question since I mainly play fps games. My only concern is that with CES announcing alot of new tech, should I wait a bit and see if better monitors comes out or pull the trigger on one?? I have narrowed it down to 3 monitors but am open to suggestions for others. I currently have an ASUS 144hz 1ms monitor which is a TN panel. Thanks for any help and input, much appreciated.
