precision x osd causing screen glitch

I'm trying to get the OSD for Precision X to work, only when I toggle it on, I get this weird On Screen Glitch. Its like an artifact bar of color, running all the way down the left side of the monitor, when I try and use the OSD. Anyone experienced this before? I'll post a screenshot later if it helps.

Edit: This is with a 980ti and Asus ROG Swift widescreen monitor, btw. Win 10, etc.

Maybe an update patch messed it up, tried an uninstall and reinstall of latest version?

Solved. I don't even know what the setting "FCat Overlay" does, but turning it off, in the overlay settings seems to have fixed the problem. I would have posted a screenshot, but the problem didn't capture in one.
