ITEM WAS SOLD!

I upgraded to Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming and no longer have any use for my MSI GeForce GTX 980 Gaming 4G.

- Ownership / usage duration was about 9 months.
- This item is in excellent condition.
- This sale includes the original box, package, and accessories (as seen on photographs).
- This card has been overclocked to 1530Mhz (GPU) & 7400Mhz (VRAM) using custom BIOS for benchmarking purposes without any issues what-so-ever. Original/Stock BIOS has been flashed back and custom OC BIOS can be provided separately.
- At some point one of the fan blades broke off (due to me accidentally pushing on the blade while handling the card), but it was successfully repaired with super-glue. The super-glued fan blade worked perfectly for 6 months of constant use (even at 100% fan speed) without issues. It still works perfectly! I advice to simply be careful when handling this card and do not push on any fan blades or the fans themselves. Aside from that, the card is in excellent condition and is fully functional.
- Dust from this card was removed using an air compressor.

I accept PayPal and will ship this item anywhere in the US ASAP, except for Alaska and Hawaii. I want $175 (lowered from $235) for this card + shipping (whichever shipping method you pick). Price will NOT be lowered any further. IMHO this card is a steal for $175

I have all positive feedback on HeatWare (Monarch) - http://www.heatware.com/u/33853 , all positive on HardForum (MonarchX) and FutureMark (Brat Gvidon).

The fan blade issue is problematic but not nearly as much as the custom BIOS and overclocks + 9 months of use on top of it. If I were to drop $175 + shipping on it, I'd want it to last AT LEAST 2 years... if not as my primary card, then as a card for another rig. Would it be able to hold up for 2 more years? Give me your honest answer... I mean my last two GPU's have been second hand so I'm no stranger to this, but I also really would like good deals.

I am not certain if the fan blade would last 2 years (hasn't come off yet!), but I am certain the card will, as long as, you don't abuse it. Custom BIOS doesn't push the card past its hardware limitations set by NVidia. Third parties simply want to stay on the safe side and lower the voltages. I flashed the original BIOS back, but I do not remember how well it can OC.

I played games on it, maybe 4-5 hours per day, mostly every other day, sometimes with a month-long break and I barely used my PC during the last 4 months due to finding a job that required traveling long-distance.. I mean it is what it is - I am an honest seller, I am not sugar-coating anything, but as long as this card is handled with care with respect to the fans (no pushing on fans), I don't see any problems.

I took more pictures of it last night, one of which demonstrates the card in action @ 100% fan speed. Anyway, here are the photo's:

I had a few interested buyers PM'ing me, but none so far paid and I need to sell this ASAP. Still on sale, please PM me quickly - I will be online all day long!

FYI, my zip code is 29803. I guess I could do $190 shipped using the cheapest method available - UPS or USPS.
