GTX 1050 vs HD 7950 boost. Which is better?

Good morning everyone. I have a gtx 1050 2gb. The fact is that a fan is not going well. I've processed rma with the store. I am offered a hd 7950 vapor-x . I could sell the new one I get and stay with the hd 7950. The advantage of the hd 7950 is that it has 3gb of memory and mine with 2gb is short.

I do not have money to buy anything more powerful or more expensive. Is it worth it that I keep the hd 7950 ?.

Edit. My cpu is a i4-4160 3.6ghz haswell.

If it's the VAPOR-X OC edition, I would keep it. That's my 2cents.gif 1050ti is basically = to a stock 960.

If that's a Vapor-X 0C, that fella can be OCed to be much faster than a stock 7970. 7970 trade blows with the gtx 960. The advantage would be you now have a 3Gb gpu instead of a 2Gb gpu.

Or you can sell that new 7950 & save more cash & buy a 1060 3Gb & enjoy a nice upgrade.

With that being said, hope that helps you determine what to do thumb.gif
