OMEN X by HP 35 Curved Gaming Display with NVIDIA G-SYNC Thread - Page 42

I was curious how much the ICC profile changed the apparent look of the panel, especially with regards to the perceived saturation loss around the edges due to the viewing angle. Would somebody who kept the monitor be able to post a before/after with the ICC profile? Ideally in a brighter room with a fast exposure time to limit the effects of overexposing (which would increase perceived saturation), but I'll take what I can get.

finally got around to loaded the icc. I do like it. best looking profile so far. I have a few more days with this I just had taken it back out the box. this time I took all monitors down and will use this for a couple days and see my final conclusion. I'm just thinking within the next 60 days I feel something else is gonna get introduced. we will see thank you and i'll keep thread updated. its helped notably with contrast.

Right when I'm starting to enjoy this monitor i now have this issue. It will go black led will turn off flicker on then go black and come back on in a matter of about 2-3 seconds. I reinstalled drivers for monitor and cards. Done with and without icc profile. I'm don't know what else to do. It's really annoying.

I think it might be due to the monitor showing as a PnP monitor in Device Manager.

I've been searching for drivers, but can't find anything; does anybody know if there are any out there?

Can someone please help me with the ICC profile? I posted earlier (quoted above) that I can't find the OMEN monitor in the dropdown to apply the ICC profile to, but I think it is because Windows thinks it is a generic monitor.
Are there drivers out there or can someone explain why I can't set a profile for the monitor?

There are so many things that could cause this issue it's difficult to nail down exactly how to fix it through a forum thread. First of all, make sure you are connected with DisplayPort, which is the ideal connection to use. Second, disconnect and reconnect the monitor and see whether windows automatically finds the driver for it on reconnect. It honestly sounds like something is up with your OS.

So I installed drivers a second time and changed cables. Used the one that came and the issue I was having is solved. I did notice the flickering during mass effect start menu first time I've noticed. Really sucks. Cuz I'm starting to like this monitor. Could be that I never played @100fps with gsync. And that this thing looks boss on my desk. Color profile helped. But now the flickering has me questioning. Titian Xp can hold 100fps on ultra with one minor tweak amazing combo

What drivers did you use...? I can't seem to find any drivers anywhere on the interwebs (yes, I know that is not a correct term... haha)...
