Yes corrected still on the fence not sure if I should wait some more until its cheaper. But of all the Monitors it seems to be the best next to the overpriced ASUS and ACER IPS versions.

Check out TFTcentrals roadmap. 1440p 144hz 21:9 panels are early 2018 for a consumer release..forget 4K

Yeah I don't understand that way of thinking, people still getting upset about the 4k 60hz monitor everybody wants higher. I don't think people realize the power to run frames above 60 at that resolutions. I',m pretty sure everybody does not have a 1080ti or titan sitting in there rigs.

But the people that do have those cards in SLI setups can push 4k at 80 - 90 FPS on new games with max settings. The time for higher refresh rates at 4k is here. No more excuses.

I would hope people buying $1k monitors for gaming at least have $700 GPUs.

Yeah unfortunately they don't make monitors for the 5% of the people who would be able to run them.

I may have missed it, but have you folks tried 85 or 90Hz instead of 100 to see if that helps at all with either flickering or overdrive artifacts w/ G-sync enabled?
I don't see any flickering and at this point I don't even wanna know how to look for it. coming from a 60Hz this is by far the best gaming experience I have personally ever had. these 2 Xp's can run games on ultra settings well over 100 frames. one of these cards run squad on ultra at 100 on the dot when overclocked. just cuz the monitor does 144 doesn't mean you need the power to run them to 144 right off the bat. over a hundred is more than enough. sli ing next gen cards is gonna run these monitors with ease.

As far as I can tell the flickering only occurs during in game loading screens that happen to run at 30fps or less. Otherwise with my single 1080ti I havent seen any hint of flickering during ACTUAL gameplay where Im pushing 90-100fps. If loading screen flickering is a real deal breaker for some people then oh well thats their lost.

... If your framerate is over 100, you aren't actually using the GSync module you paid extra for, lol smile.gif
