Intel i7-7700k (5.2 GHz @ 1.39v) Delidded

Brand new (tested only) Intel i7-7700k capable of running 5.2 GHz @ 1.39v average (1.38v BIOS), verified through a 1 hour RealBench stability test.

Cooling during testing was handled by a Corsair H115i AIO with ambient room temps of approximately 20c.

Max core temp during testing at 5.2 GHz was 61c and with the package temp only reaching 62c.

With that said, there is plenty of voltage and thermal head room left to continue to push this chip higher, but I'll leave that to the new owner to explore.
This chip is perfect for anyone looking for a fast and simple "install and go" 7700k that's capable of 5.2 GHz or higher clock speeds with less complicated cooling solutions such as AIOs. Because the IHS was resealed, the future owner only needs to apply the paste of choice as he/she would with any stock Intel CPU.

The 7700k will be shipped complete with its original packaging via USPS. I ship the same day depending on time of payment.

Delidding process: The 7700k was delidded using a high quality der8auer Delid-Die-Mate tool. Every bit of factory sealant was removed and the surfaces were thoroughly cleaned. CLU was applied to the die and corresponding mating surface on the IHS. Black silicone was reapplied leaving a small break in the sealant (for pressure venting) in the same manner that Intel does from the factory. The IHS was then installed and properly aligned.

Test Bench:
Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero
16 GB G.Skill TridentZ (ran at default)
Corsair H115i All in One water cooler
Samsung 850 Evo SSD
Seasonic SS-1200XP PSU

They are definitely great chips once delidded. You still have to hunt for the really good ones, which is what I've been doing a lot of.

I'm also running a x99/5960x rig myself along side my z270/7700k rig. Both great platforms.

5.2 GHz looks to be the higher end for ambient configs. I managed to get the 7700k that I'm currently using in my daily rig to run perfectly fine at 5.3 GHz with 1.439v and another that did 5.3 GHz with 1.449v. Both were on a custom loop and tested at those speeds/voltages with an 8hr RealBench and were submitted to the Kaby Lake statistics thread.

This particular chip that I'm selling benches 5.3 GHz perfectly fine, but I listed it as a 5.2 chip simply so I could demonstrate stability via RealBench at a reasonable voltage and while using an off the shelf cooler.

The chip currently loaded in my daily rig will complete Cinebench R15 passes at 5.4 GHz with roughly 1.45v. It takes quite a bit more to run something like RealBench stress test so I decided not to pursue any further. Maybe if I was running some of the colder water as you mentioned, but I'm at ambient water temps for now.
