You're wrong mate smile.gif I've tried it few weeks ago when I was planning this build and it was just fine wink.gif Maybe You haven't seen that I removed Evolv mouting bracket and made one myself? Top radiator will be screwed to Evolv's frame directly. It is very tight fit though.

Ah my bad then. I missed that part with the top mount. I was gonna write if you mod the top it would fit.

i worked in industrial maintenance the last 20 years of my 2nd career and we had fittings just like those for our pnuematic system for air cylinders and vacuum lines and the reservour looks like the vacuum chamber to pull back food oil from the filler tubes(preventing drips). awesome we used them with flexible poly tubing and the connectors were push to connect.

Huge update guys biggrin.gif

As You can see at renders I'm going to use different reservoir. It's related to the fact that Alphacool's res doesn't have functionality to connect IN at top of it. I have a new Aqualis 440ml lying around and I like it very much, so it's a perfect choice smile.gif

DSC02366.jpg

Using Aqualis base requires different pump top, so here we go.

DSC02373.jpg

Combo looks delicious, glass tube is fantastic thumb.gif What's interesting it's incredibly heavy, even without fluid biggrin.gif

Pump is missing. Reason? VPP755 doesn't fit Aqualis. I will go with normal D5.

Some time ago I swapped my 2x4GB G.Skill RipjawsV for 4x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws4 3000Mhz Cl15. They look nice but I'm going to watercool them so whatever biggrin.gif

Case time thumb.gif

According to my assumptions there was made new basement cover with slot for Aquaero 6. Originally I wanted to make it from acrylic but it ended up on alu. ROG logo is made from acrylic in a 'box" which is pushed into basement cover. To make it fit above PSU I had to raise it as high as it can go.

During planning this cover I had an idea to make a second cover. Nothing special, just a piece of aluminium to cover an area between MOBO and front of the case. But to make my life more difficult I made a wholes for each cable separatly for 24PIN ATX and 8PIN VGA. The other two holes are for SATA and USB3.0.

Finally I collected Evolv's panels from powdering. It took ages but hopefully is propely done.

Thanks. Compartment was planned by me but I don't have access to CNC so I ordered it from a friend. Some story with other cover.

No, suprisngly it wasn't hard to remove it. Few screws and rivets and that's it. It's good to have top panel completely removed though, cause it's much easier to get this cover in/out.

There have been a while since last post, but it doesn't mean I'm lazy biggrin.gif

First of all, bracket is armed with radiator - Alphacool NexXxos ST30 360mm and three Phobya eLoop 120mm fans thumb.gif

I've also mounted waterblock on GTX1070.

RAM finally got its waterblock. IMO it looks awesome, but I have to admit disassembling Ripjaws4 orginal heatsinks gave me few heart attacks eek.gif
I have also made my first acrylic tube connection. Hardest of them all thumbsupsmiley.png

I screwed up that I didn't wait with powder coating till I have all elements. Covers had to paited old-school way but I wasn't proud of how it turned out.
However, as Asus logo box is covered with foil I decided to do the same with covers.
Pics also show that Evolv's is really small case when You start to mess around with it rolleyes.gif
