Nixeus Revel actually 450dpi? - Page 2

Did some measurements on my mice by using overwatch to do a 360 turn, measuring the distance at 800 DPI @ 5 in game and then using this calculator https://jscalc.io/calc/djyxBymfcWCIgD4f I inputted the cm/360 I actually got on the left then adjusted the dpi value on the left until the value of the your overwatch sensitivity was as close to 5 as possible on the right hand side.

Zowie mice (EC1A + EC2A) were both about 770, Nixeus Revel is 823, g pro was 819, g303 was 817, g403 was 798 (closest to 800).

I can confirm my revel does seem to have the highest sensitivity of the lot of them.

Isn't Logitech doing something inside their 3366 that it always has the exact DPI that you configured in their driver?

Yeah, mine has like 430 ish at 400 dpi. Pretty normal. I think they haven't tested perfectly like Zowie or Logitech does. G403, G pro and g303 has exact same sensitivity when i tested it.

Well thank you all for making me feel less crazy.

Glad to see there's some evidence out there.

That is why when i use a new mouse or play a new game or even change my mousefeet. I go up to a wall , aim at the corner and turn around 360degrees, then measure my cm and keep adjusting it, till it is the exact same in every game.

Kinda funny when friends ask me why i need a measuring tape on my pc desk rolleyes.gif

But yea as already mentioned by others, this is completely normal.

Same! If you go by website and conversion they amount they can be out is insane. Only true way to get the right sens exact is in game with a ruler. Or in my case a measure mark on my deskpad for 70cm
