The best one is the one with the best warranty, and (if you like aesthetics) what looks best to you for your rig. I don't think many of them differ too much from one another. I would just stick to 4GB models to be on the safe side.
Because in North America they are the best well known manufacturers that consistently make very good products. If space is a requirement, or you want to shoehorn it in a SFF OEM pc I would favor the low profile version but I think only MSI does them, https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137079&ignorebbr=1
Asus does a good job with their Strix line. It's a bit more expensive than the average 1050 although if you're planning on overclocking, this card will outperform the others. Hit 2.2GHz stable on my 1070 Strix (on air). 1050 model will probably do well too.
Don't go the 1050 route. Even the 1050ti isn't worth it.
Go with this RX 470. Yes, there are reviews saying there are heat issues with the VRM's, but I just bought one for my son and they now come with heatsinks for the VRM's. I took it apart to replace the TIM and even bought VRM heatsinks with thermal tape to apply, but they weren't needed since they came with em.
The best 1050ti is $15 less. Go for the RX470. I am a Nvidia user but at the price point, the 470 is the better choice. Your wasting your money with a 1050 or 1050ti

The performance difference isn't all that big and the 470 is a no go if you are running a weaker PSU/have an OEM system. Most 1050 Tis run with no additional power needed and still do 1900Mhz+ on the core no problem at 60 degrees and no fan noise with a single dinky fan..u
The 470 is the way to go if performance is the only metric though no doubt but even still most are unlikely to notice the difference.

This, if you go with Nvidia. EVGA's customer service can't be beaten. Personally though, as others have mentioned, I would probably favor the RX 470 if performance was what I was after.
