I don't think it could possibly be anything else - Link

Rumors that Nvidia is about to unveil its powerful GTX 1080 Ti graphics card have been swirling, with many suggesting that an event held in San Francisco on February 28 by the GPU maker would see it officially announced - and it looks like the company may have accidentally spilled the beans early.
Still visible on NVIDIA's .co.uk domain here.

If AMD end up beating this card with Vega... then I think a lot of people's heads are going to explode. For those of us old enough to remember how these markets work... we know that nVIDIA and Intel will outsell AMD in terms of GPUs and CPUs even if AMDs products end up faster. Enthusiasts might go AMD but the masses are likely to stick with what they know (much simpler that way).

I'm hoping that AMD does knock it out of the park in both instances

While it would be nice to have strong competition from both, what reason do we have to believe that they will beat it?

"If" and "I'm hoping".

The only sad thing is the rumored $699-$899 price point.

I honestly hope that AMD can steal some thunder and surprise us with the VEGA launch. The AMD guys still let you do 4 way Xfire.
If the Vega cards run @ at least 90% of the speed of the TI the only missing thing for me to build an AMD rig would be a MOBO that supports 4 way Xfire.

All going to depend the price and the performance. If it's another 980 --> 980Ti step up without a prohibitive price tag, I would bet many will jump on it.

Exactly. 980Ti was ridiculously popular across OCN.

Pretty surprising that Nvidia isn't keeping the Ti up their sleeve to take a dump on AMD's parade the moment they release Vega...is that an indicator that Vega will actually be decent, and Nvidia aren't going to take any chances and want maximum profits ASAP?

Because price wise it was not bad and looked so much better than Fury X.

lol wouldn't get your hopes up since there's about a 90% chance it being slotted exactly inbetween the 1080 and the Titan X Pascal

1080FE - $700
Titan XP - $1200
1080Ti FE = $950

The only big surprise Nvidia can do here is make this a full fat GP102 like they did with the original Titan and the 780Ti but all rumors & leaks suggest a cutdown Titan XP

If that's the price it'll be pretty hard to swallow. After taxes and all the rest of it that'd be around $1900 here. Presumably the AIBs would be cheaper, but I was hoping to get higher end than a reference board.

This would be really sad indeed. The last AMD Gpu i had was two 295x2s.
I hope Vega surprises and if anyone come with a MOBO that supports 4 way xfire im in.

Anyone knows of any MOBO that supports Ryzen and 4 way Xfire?

GTX980 was $550, GTX980 Ti was $650
GTX1080 was $600-700 so GTX1080 Ti will be $700-$800 at least.

My only problem is I do not wish for GTX780 but a 780 Ti.
