Saw this post on r/MouseReview linking to a Twitter:

Man, that would be a sick mouse. Looks like he used a G303 PCB.

Why, though? People have praised WMO for the sensor, but it's not like the shape is anything special. When is someone going to put a 3310/3360/3366 in CM Storm Spawn/Xornet, G9x or Sidewinder?

I could never play with a WMO because of it. 3360 is not overrated, thanks.
I can't use the MLT mice to AWP in CS, the control speed is too low.

I like the general shape of the WMO. I would like the FK to have a similar rear hump, front height and side profile. I can handle the WMO shape better than most.

The IMO is okay for the standard grip. It's just too tall and abrupt for me.

Sticky tape. Lots of it.

And I agree. The WMO is my favorite mouse shape. All so-called 'copies' and WMO-inspired are not doing it right. They just miss the point.

Plus, it's extremely light.

The internet has deemed the MLT04 as the king of all sensors and there can never ever be a better sensor or better mouse than the Almighty WMO

Even with my 48cm/360 i hit the max tracking speed and it starts to negatively accel all the time on me. While the negative accel is way better than the sensor just spazzing out and stopping to track completely , i still can't use it (since flicks are not consistent). So i don't get how you guys with an even lower sens are using it.

Granted , the mlt04 feels great, if only the max tracking speed was around 4m/s , i would probably still use it.

I think for now the 3360/3366 is definitely the best all around package.

A buddy threw a 3366 into a copperhead, boy am i envious.

I guess 105cm/360 would be overkill then, I have a spear WMO lying around just needs a new cable (plug, not solder) and mouse feet. I got it when I was using about 30cm/360 (5-6 years ago). No point wasting money on it then.

Yea, i don't think that you will be able to play with a mlt04 with that kind of a sens. Back when i bought my IME 3.0 i was using a stupid high sens, so i never hit the limit of the sensor. It is a shame that this sensor can't track faster.

Whatever you do while playing makes you either not hit the max tracking speed or you just don't notice the negative acceleration, that is nice. You should definitely keep using that mouse then.

My IME 3.0 is overclocked to 500hz and starts to negatively accelerate at around 2.1m/s~ . For normal gameplay it works but as soon as i have to flick or move around a little bit faster it can't keep up.

But most games nowadays have such a poor processed mouse feeling that using an mlt04 over the 3360/3366 or even a 3310 doesn't really matter much, at least for me personally. I rather have the higher max tracking speed.

Mainly in quake, cs 1.6 and tribes 2 i notice the difference between the mlt04 and 3310 for example (because those games have the most raw feeling imo). For newer games that feel pretty swampy , like overwatch, bf1 , battlegrounds and so on i don't really think it matters. However, that is my personal opinion.

Just to understand that part correctly, you prefer the mlt04 over the 3310 for those games, correct?
IF so: WHY?
IF not: WHY?
Thanks in advance ;)

I play a slightly higher sensitivity than you at 43.4cm/360, and I use another STM sensor (VT5366) which malfunctions at about 1.7m/s, I never hit the malfunction speed of the VT5366 but that could be related to the sensor having insane amounts of positive acceleration so I can turn as far as I need to without hitting the malfunction speed.
