Jim, the owner of CaseLabs, is going to be our guest this Monday night at 6:00 PM Eastern, and we're going to ask him your questions! Post them in this thread and tune in live at https://www.twitch.tv/overclocktv to hear them answered on stream. If you can't make it live, it'll be posted on SoundCloud within a couple days.

  1. How is the "streamlining" of your production process going and what future changes do you plan to make to make it even faster? I know your company does a lot more than just the more consumer focused "CaseLabs" side of it but having estimates of 9-10 weeks for shipping (and some even taking longer) can really cause issues planning a build. I also know you can't rush quality (and CaseLabs is without a doubt the highest quality I've personally encountered) but having to plan a build months in advance while waiting on a case can be frustrating.
  2. We all know Gemini is coming (Soon™) but what are the major redesigns and changes that have caused it to take so long? What type of improvements will we be seeing in the new case line (improved cable routing, lighting support, even more modularity, etc...)?
  3. Will we be seeing an update to the Mercury line with the improvements that are coming to Gemini or will Gemini include some options with horizontal motherboard mounts?
  4. Cake or Pie?

How big is caselabs? (IE - number of employees, facilities, etc.)

What is the most popular case?

Any chance to get two tone cases back?

Thermalright or Thermaltake? Can't imagine Case labs would have issue with a CPU Cooler company

- Will the ready to roll bullet case orders be returning?
- Will we be seeing the bullet case colours offered for other cases?
- Will we be seeing custom colours come back as an extra cost?

Thought of a few more...

  1. How difficult is it when designing a case to steer clear of the "Well X company added this real cool feature to their case, we should do something like that." and risk copying someone else's design? There are only so many ways you can do cable routing holes or radiator mounts and having similarities is going to happen. How difficult is it to try to maintain something original and yet keep adding new features/options to your cases?
  2. The upcoming Bullet BH8 (if that is indeed it's final name) that you have been teasing in images is looking amazing. In fact I enjoy the look of the entire Bullet series. Have you ever though of bringing the style/atheistic of the Bullet series to the larger cases? The rounded corners, the seemless design held on by screws instead of ball and socket mounts. Is expanding that style to something as large as a Mercury or Magnum case just too expensive to do and not worth it?
  3. Will we ever see the option of having built in sliding dust filters in any of the cases? Screw on dust filters and magnetic ones are workable but are no where near as easy/clean to use as slide in/out filters.
  4. Ever though of expanding your manufacturing to other parts of the country? Perhaps open a shop on the East Coast.

Is CaseLabs looking to expand their design and quality to other areas of the PC market? i.e. CaseLabs mice, keyboards, water cooling, monitor mounts, etc.

So I'm planning to win this BX8 case. Should I just give you my address now?
