Wow, this is the 1700x.

Wow.

This could be LN2, but still.

Wow.

Well unless there is heavy binning between the 1700x and 1800x, we should expect very similar scores between the two. All that matters now is frequencies and cooling method.

Based on these results, The 1700x might be a good overclocker.
Unless LN2 was involved

According to this video, a good motherboard might be key.

This is my 6850K at 4.6Ghz. For the more rational among you, I think that makes things a littler clearer

Your 3200Mhz CAS12 RAM is no joke either.

Ryzen is more of a beast than we thought?

GG intel. AMD have bested you.
This is 8 core from AMD consuming a lot less power than the 6 core from intel...

Sick!

1700X / 6800K
Platform Power Draw (CPU Full Load) The lower the better.
123w / 126.87w
Platform Power Draw (System Standby) The lower the better.
62.77w / 98.74w
Platform Power Draw (Gaming) The lower the better.
154.66w / 194.2w

Platform Power Draw (Office Work) The lower the better.
81.55w / 113.5w

Perhaps. From what we've seen IPC wise i think this is a 4.6Ghz run.

But Shiftstealth, it beats the 7700k!

Yeah, it isn't that far off of it, and without proper turbo'ing on the 7700k i could see it winning out at 4.6Ghz.

I do not think this needed LN2 to hit 4.6Ghz

Thanks for that translation. So the only test where ryzen really falls behind is Ludashi 5.15 Memory score which given the ram speed disparity between the two systems shouldn't be surprising.

You guys need to keep in mind that if that chip IS overclocked, that the rest of those results are from stock clocked chips.

I've heard they don't OC that well over their boost which is really sad. I'll be putting mine through its paces when it gets here and I'll see how it goes against a 5960x @4.6ghz.

Can't CPU-Z be spoofed? I know the expectations are high, but only tomorrow we'll see legitimate reviews. Right now the only thing we know to be completely true is the AMD's live demo.

I don't know, maybe I'm being a bit skeptical, but "leaked" results have very little credibility.
