i get 180+ fps on overwatch which is great (over 240+ on my 7700k) 144hz monitor so it doens't really matter. but again it's terrible with dota. it's improving I tell you that hopefully 3200mhz can help with the minimums some more. currently at 2666mhz and the improvement has been noticeable from 2400

He specifically mentioned issues that come from a high PPI. My monitor setup certainly isn't as good in colour reproduction and the like and I'd appreciate it if you didn't imply I did.

The size is fine? I am going to get a bigger one later on but considering how close most of us sit to our screens even 30" is pretty big...I'd rather higher PPI. He specifically said "massive low res pixels" when even though my screen has a lower res, it has much smaller pixels regardless of screen size, colour reproduction, panel type, etc.

Same here. My parents love to use chromecast and my Dad comes and uses my 40" 4K monitor in my PC because he loved the size.

I remember the first time I saw a 27" monitor in the store back in 2011 I was absolutely blown away by it (and I actually still have it, a Samsung P2770FH). It just looked so massive back then. Now my 27" IPS monitors just look like normal sized monitors to me. I can't imagine ever using anything smaller than these again.

I have a 25.5 inch 16:10 monitor at home and have since early 2011. At work the biggest monitor they give out is 16:9 22 inches. Every time I come home it still looks giant to me.

I know what you mean but I'm just so used to this size now. In fact, my next monitor is almost certain to be at least 40" and 4K.

Its a shame most dont know how to use chromecasts, the new vizio TV's have 4k chromecasts built in and they are gettting a bad rep because people dont understand how superior it is to on screen interfaces lol.

Sorry, but I just don't see that considering the memory factor is infinitely faster over DDR3.

I have both 1100T and a R7 1800x. Maybe when I finally cobble together the board and RAM, I will look into this. But logic tells me that's an inaccurate assesment. mellowsmiley.gif
