My fan doesnt need to go over 60% for max load at mid 70's temp. These things need proper intake air, and not just some fan blowing across the case.

This thing fits my case like a glove. It's as long as this side mesh.

2x90mm fans in the front feeding intake, one basically in front of the GPU. Then a nice big 140mm exhaust. Keeps pretty cool.

Def gonna try to go for a smaller form factor when I overhaul my rig nex time. Seems so efficient, and it'd be nice to see my rig atop my desk rather than next to it. biggrin.gif

Also...

Decided to open my window *it's 24 degrees F outside...* And lowered my ambient room temp to ~20C Maxed the Fan to 100 and Ran Heaven 3x to test stability. Seems that this card is very aggressive with thermal throttling. Without the fat @100% Load temps were in the mid 70's and it wouldn't ask for mote than 1.06V, now I'm able to feed 1.08V and get a higher boost clock. thumb.gif

Really wanna throw some better cooling at this beast and see if 2100 or more is doable.

Looks great man, Really tempted to try this, did you change out the thermal pads or need any additional ones? Anything I should be aware of before attempting?

Thanks! thumb.gif

I can ask...hhahaha. Im going to be doing mine once it arrives. I will probably leave the same thermal pads. The video posted earlier, there is a part 2 for installation of the AIO...im sure he uses the same thermal pads since he said something along the lines of "im going to try not to touch the thermal pads w/ my fingers so dirt/oil doesnt get on them"....i think.
