Alright thanks for your help

Well since FedEx decided to not deliver my New Mobo but did deliver the 1080ti I might just take the 1080ti apart and put Kryonat on it while I am waiting. Don't really feel like just shoving the 1080ti into one of my other rigs for just a day. However I would not have a test with the stock paste that way. Still might just do it as I am pretty bored and the 1080ti is just staring at me.

well it wont be apples to apples but i know i idle at 35c (if in adaptive/optimal) and 45c (in Prefer Maximum Performance- aka staying full clockspeed). On the latter, i end up at 77-78c with a 1.2/1 fan/temp ratio after a half hour 4k Heaven loop. So, im interested in your results if you do it. Dont have paste on hand and stores around here sell crap so i gotta wait for amazon.

Very curious because i gained 10c under load and 11c idle on my 980ti hybrid when i opened her up and repasted. and that wasnt even with Kryo.

Getting my Ti tomorrow. I returned my Titan XP that did 2126 on water. I got back $500 dollars and a free game for the same performance. biggrin.gif Not too bad I'd say.

Now I can't decide which game to get, Wildlands or For Honor? thinking.gif

I hope Gigabyte will release a 1080Ti Xtreme Gaming WATERFORCE, as they did for the 1080.

Open world third person shooter vs. fighting game. Both buggy as its Ubi. I'm getting For Honor myself.
