NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Owner's Club - Page 146

Well Newegg/FedEx got my card here a day early so that was a pleasant surprise to come home from work to. Anyway this thing is a beast compared to my 980.

If you're going to claim to be the first 2100 OC, "wall broken" and such lets see some proof.[/B] And more power to you if you got there. But for now it's a momentary boost clock until you can show a sustained boost graph. I have serious doubts it's possible at those temps you're seeing. I've been proven wrong before.

Congrats on an awesome OC either way.

This is what a sustained clock graph should look like looping heaven.

Dude are you serious ??

3d mark run all the way to the end and recorder the 2100 mhz on the core

Did you see the link ??sustained or not i reach the 2100.5 mhz and broke the wall period.

That it !!

Now lets see who score more then 2100mhz core on air in 3d mark and post the link of the score

You Really want me to make a video ??tongue.gif

3dmark has variations due to loading and is not the right measure for sustained clocks. 2100 MHz to sustain, you need to run something like Witcher 3 for about 15 minutes or loop Heaven/Valley for 15 minutes after which most cards stabilize on clocks/temperatures.

Wall its broken anyway and of course the card will go down to 2050 min to 2100 mhz max

to stabilize and have constant 2100 mhz you need water cooling and maybe a mod bios and power limit unlocked.

my point is that this card reaches 2100 mhz on air without crashing and thats it. Wall broken . the only thing to do now it put a waterblock on it and wait for mod bios.

If anyone can do 2100 mhz then just post a link with the 3d mark score then we all set. wink.gif Jeez

valley 2088mhz min to 2100 max.

goes down to 2088mhz after hitting 70c on air. For me its stable enough on air.

Putting a waterblock and im sure i will see 2100 mhz stable all the time or maybe more in gaming thumb.gif

Have good night folks:thumb:

Yeah, when you suddenly go from 1500 to 1900 boost back and forth, the sudden FPS spikes/drops are noticeable even at high FPS. 50% fan speed is pretty good, sound wise.

The problem with boost, is if you don't limit its temps, I think it can actually throttle even less than stock clock, because it's trying to keep temps in check, which means you'll essentially be running hot at stock clocks, the temps will drop as it tries to compensate, and those clocks will rise again, then quickly heat things up, then it all drops back down again.

These settings seem to be really stable. Since the temp limit target is well below the 80c/50% speed cut off, it throttles well before that, which keeps temps and fan speed steady.
