Anyone hitting over 2100 or 2200mhz to the core?
your "quick and diryt oc" is the oc. that's all there is to it.

to stabilize and have constant 2100 mhz you need water cooling and maybe a mod bios and power limit unlocked.

my point is that this card reaches 2100 mhz on air without crashing and thats it. Wall broken . the only thing to do now it put a waterblock on it and wait for mod bios.

If anyone can do 2100 mhz then just post a link with the 3d mark score then we all set. wink.gif Jeez

Point proven. Wall NOT broken.

That's more like it. Those are some low temps. Nice OC!

goes down to 2088mhz after hitting 70c on air. For me its stable enough on air.

Putting a waterblock and im sure i will see 2100 mhz stable all the time or maybe more in gaming thumb.gif

Have good night folks:thumb:
+220?!?! Wow, dude

The problem with boost, is if you don't limit its temps, I think it can actually throttle even less than stock clock, because it's trying to keep temps in check, which means you'll essentially be running hot at stock clocks, the temps will drop as it tries to compensate, and those clocks will rise again, then quickly heat things up, then it all drops back down again.

These settings seem to be really stable. Since the temp limit target is well below the 80c/50% speed cut off, it throttles well before that, which keeps temps and fan speed steady.

best way is just set the frame limiter. 4k, 60 limiter, v-sync off. done. card never throttles. 60 locked.

Got it today! Haven't touched it to OC yet, but it was boosting to 1810 on its own? Around 65c. I'll do more texting tomorrow to see.

I picked For Honor for me free game, and I have to say, it's a really good looking game.

Well that would be fine....if I wasn't running a 144hz monitor wink.gif But I do frame limit to 144hz. In demanding games, the FPS still doesn't always get the full 144hz, but I'm happy with 90fps+.

I'll try putting it as an intake and see how much of a difference that makes.

Setting your H55 to intake will be best for temps, but in the end, you're going to be limited by the radiator/CLC itself. It's a rather small/slim radiator with a moderate fin density. You'll hit a point where you don't see any improvement since you'll cool the system more than the water/liquid can transfer the heat to the radiator.

What are the absolute best intake fans to use for airflow? These 4 cards are throwing a LOT of heat (of course, they get pushed out the back of the case which is nice) and so my Kraken X41 which has only one 140mm fan as a 'pull' config (on top) is struggling to keep my CPU cool - I was seeing 90C on the CPU last night! o_0

I was thinking of picking up the Noctua NF-A14 iPPC 3000 PWM fans for the Kraken X41 but I need fans for intake in the front of the case - right now I'm just using 2x Corsair LED 120mm fans - they don't push/pull a lot of air.

I was also considering ditching the Kraken X41 for the Kraken X62 - anyone have experience with that?

1)pics of the 4x cards installed?
2)how much do you care about noise?

Going to a new radiator in his situation will help, but those LED Corsair fans should be replaced stat.

Personally I'd recommend Deltas or even the Noctua Industrials if noise and cost isn't a factor.
