So do you guys think the card is worth the price nvidia asks for it ? I have a heatkiller fullcover block ready for it, so is my custom loop, sitting here thinking if I should pull the trigger or not, currently using the 980ti wich is showing its age, and gaming on a 1440p 144hz monitor, I have a feeling I will order one today, but not entirely sure rolleyes.gif

Having your card touch 2100 and maintain 2100 are worlds appart.

This card,

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-1080-ti-water-cooling,4975.html

Like yours, cannot claim a 2100 OC. Thats why they make it clear to point out that the card throttled to clear that assumption. All that area under the curve missing at each one of those throttle stops is from the card not actually running 2100. I bet your card would not throttle at 1800-2000, but you're not even showing that. What else is there to talk about.

Fix your 2100 before you claim it. That's all you're being asked of. Otherwise stop pretending.

There is no telling that had your card stayed at 2100 wether it would have crashed trying to sustain that clock, throttled due to TDP or else.

A working OC should like this.

Until you show something remotely similar vs just momentary boost to 2100 stop.

When you get there you can enjoy all the props you want but until then you're just pretending.
if i were moderating you two id point out that of course you are correct, you did come off a bit harsh to begin with (his initial cheering faces pissed you off), but otherwise you are correct. HOWEVER, as soon as pompss card hits water, i bet he can hold it. He's right that that is a golden card. as is yours. that 2075 locked is a sight to behold. Neither of you have anything to be mad about , really. Ya'll got the best best cards in the thread. BE HAPPY. SMILE!! SMILE!!

Technically, everyone in here who owns the card has decided that yes, the card is worth the asking price.

yes, of course. always test at highest resolution if you have a stronger gpu than cpu setup

I will say it again your OC is a monetary boost to 2100, it's just that a momentary boost but not sustained clocks or a valid 2100 OC in my book. Get it under water, get it to sustain 2100 and then you can spew all day. Until then...

FWIW, Here is mine and I can't claim it. At least mine doesn't throttle lol....

honestly, id claim the frick out of that.
